Safety & Security

Personal Safety System®. The state-of-the-art Personal Safety System®, standard on all Ford Ranger models, includes dual-stage driver front passenger airbags and a front passenger sensing system that can calculate a person's approximate weight, then send a signal to automatically activate or deactivate the airbag accordingly.

Standard 4-Wheel ABS. Standard equipment on all Ranger pickups is an Anti-Lock Braking System, which delivers smooth, straight stops, and helps you maintain control while braking under a variety of driving conditions.

Capability

Longer Cargo Box. Ranger is the only compact pickup to offer a 7-foot-long box, which allows it to carry more (and longer) cargo. A 6-foot cargo box is standard.
